Conspiracy To Cover Up Biden's Cognitive Decline

A political earthquake rattled the Democratic Party after President Biden's debacle in the first presidential debate.  A growing schism in the party over the president's cognitive fitness is roiling Washington. Biden's handlers and family are circling the wagons, hoping to stave off a party revolt.

A growing chorus of Democrats went public urging the president to gracefully exit the race in the face of plummeting poll numbers.  But a defiant Biden in an ABC interview made it clear he is pressing on, stubbornly insisting he was the best Democrat to beat former president Donald Trump.

Amidst the turmoil, the lackey Biden mainstream media did the unthinkable. They turned on the president after propping him up for four years, despite a spate of public episodes offering evidence that Biden was neurologically impaired.

Editorials and opinion pieces in The New York Times called for the president to bow out of the presidential race.  The Washington Post published a column with suggestions for a speech tailor made for Biden's  campaign withdrawal.

The Times reported that at last month's G-7 meeting in Italy observers were said to be "shocked" at Biden's state.  Another unnamed official confessed Biden appeared to be "out of it," according to The Times. Other media felt emboldened by The Times reporting to pile on.

A string of articles based on administration insiders painted a picture of an out-of-touch president, who is shielded by his staff from bad news in fear of igniting Biden's temper tantrums.  His handlers limit his schedule to a 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to avoid sapping the 81-year-old's mental and physical energy.

The media's sudden about face is prompted by a realization they can no longer lie about Biden to Americans who witnessed a decrepit president with their own eyes. The president's halting speech, raspy voice, nonsensical word salads and non sequiturs were on full display.

Former New York Times executive editor Jill Abramson undressed journalists covering the president for failing to "hold power accountable," while participating in a "massive coverup" with the White House to shield Biden's obvious mental decline.

"It is our duty to poke through White House smoke screens and find out the truth," Abramson said.  "The Biden White House clearly succeeded in a massive coverup of the degree of the President's feebleness and serious physical decline, which may be simply the result of old age."

Another respected liberal journalist Carl Bernstein told CNN how multiple well placed sources disclosed to him that Biden's abysmal debate performance was not atypical but increasingly representative of the president's mental fog.  Bernstein's sources reported 15-to-20 similar episodes.

The media knew.  But the powerful who control the nation's news outlets choose to deceive Americans.

Instead of independent reporting, the fawning media regurgitated press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre's talking points.  Behind closed doors Biden runs circles around his staff.  His mental sharpness amazes everyone around him.  He has the energy of someone half his age.  All lies.

The messaging was picked up by Democrat leaders such as House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Vice President Kamala Harris.  Biden is fully engaged and sharp these top Democrats swore.  Other Democrats chimed in right on cue.  More lies.

You would expect as much from Democrats panicked the truth about Biden would seep into the voters' conscious.  Even when online videos and Fox News documented the president's verbal stumbles, confusing and dazed appearance, Jean-Pierre called the visual evidence "deep fakes."

But the debate ended the charade.  The cellophane wrapped president appeared on television for 90 minutes looking every bit of his 81-years, pasty-faced, staring blankly in the distance and seemingly unable to summon up talking points that had been drummed in him for six days.

Those who blame Biden for not being truthful about his mental decline should point fingers at the media. Their job is to honestly report on the occupant of the White House even when they know the truth will help the hated Donald Trump.  But they were invested insulating Biden from criticism.

For example, the White House press corps never insisted that Biden stand for a full press conference until post-debate. Consistently answering reporters questions is a basic tenant of presidential coverage. Yet Biden has held the fewest press conferences since Ronald Reagan.

At one point in 2022, Biden went nearly 200 days without being interviewed by an American TV journalist.  Jean-Pierre claimed the president had taken more questions than his predecessors combined. There was no push back from fact-checkers.  The White House press corps never challenged the lie.

Every American should be convinced the media cannot be trusted.  They willingly, knowingly participated in a conspiracy to coverup for Biden. The media cabal's sudden interest in exposing the truth is a sign they have new marching orders from Democrats hoping to oust Biden from the ticket.

The nation deserves an answer to these questions: "Who orchestrated this massive conspiracy that involved Vice President Harris, the media, cabinet members, donors, White House staff, congressional Democrats and foreign leaders? Were power brokers pulling the strings behind the scenes?"

The fallout from the coverup doesn't just rest on Biden's decision to obstinately stay in the race.  How can a man with serious cognitive issues remain president for four more months?  Can he be trusted with nuclear codes and critical midnight decisions? The nation is at risk every day Biden clings to power.

Democrats should remind Biden he pledged to be a one-term president when he ran in 2020.  He admitted he was no "spring chicken." Perhaps he was being honest or it was just a ploy.  This will not end well for Biden, the Democratic Party or those who knowingly fed falsehoods to voters.

What will Biden and Democrats do?  First Lady Jill Biden and their grifter son Hunter Biden are isolating the president in a cocoon to ward off detractors. No one has been able to pierce the bubble. Jill and Hunter will not allow Biden to go quietly into the night.

There is a nuclear option.  Democrat leaders, including Vice President Harris, could meet secretly with the president and threaten to invoke the 25th Amendment, which provides for removal of the chief executive if he is incapable of serving.

Faced with the certainty of an ouster,  Biden could choose to magnanimously resign or suffer the humiliation of being thrown out of office.

What if Biden calls their bluff?  Would Democrats really want to hang out to dry one of their own in a messy public flogging?  The next few weeks should provide some answers.  This writer's opinion is the party is stuck with Biden at the top of the ticket.

Joy Reid, a co-host on ABC's The View, may have been prescient when she asserted on air she would vote for a comatose Joe Biden over Trump.  That perspective may be shared by large numbers of Democrats.  That's why a Biden candidacy may yet survive the political gallows.

Cover-Up Of the Classified Documents Fiasco

Make no mistake about it.  Attorney General Merrick Garland's appointment of a special counsel is about politics not justice. His action gives the White House cover to deflect any questions about President Biden's mishandling of classified documents. No information is the new Biden transparency.

The president's press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre rebuffed any reporter's questions about the president's lapse in protecting classified information in his possession, referring the media to the special counsel.  Of course, she knows the special counsel cannot comment on an ongoing investigation.

Because a sitting president cannot be charged with a crime, Biden anticipates the outcome will be a slap on the wrist.  Meanwhile, the special counsel will dither for 18 months to keep the lid on the scandal.  As the president's wingman, Garland did the president a solid by naming a prosecutor.

By now the whole world knows about the four batches of classified documents Biden took from the White House after his term as vice president ended. Those documents were removed by Biden from his office six years ago.  What took his lawyers so long to suddenly discover the government records?

The answer should be obvious to all but Democrat partisans,  The first tranche of documents were uncovered by lawyers November 4, four days before the mid-terms.  The White House pollsters knew the Republicans were poised to take the House and launch probes of the president.

A White House team had already been assembled months before to prepare for a full court press by the House for Biden's documents. The team sent lawyers scurrying first to the Penn Biden Center located in Washington. Americans are supposed to believe Biden didn't tell his lawyers where to search.

Once Biden's crony Garland learned of the first batch of documents he asked the FBI on November 9 for an assessment. He did not order an FBI raid on Biden's residence. The FBI didn't snap photos of Biden's classified documents to distribute to the media. Double standards are Garland's idea of justice.

According to multiple news sources, the documents found at Penn Biden were top secret intelligence reports on Ukraine and Iran.

When the story broke, the media immediately wrapped Biden in a protective cocoon.  The Penn Biden Center documents were not the same as the cache at President Trump's private residence.  Then classified documents were found at Biden's private residence.  Bet Karine didn't see that coming.

The media oligarchy did what it always does--dredging up former President Trump to defend Biden.  Poor old Joe just forgot he had these classified documents.  Trump deliberately took documents and locked them in his Florida residence.  Mean, bad Trump.  Joe gets a pass because he's "honest."

What a crock. The media is right about the difference in the two cases.  Biden went six years before the documents came to light. Documents were haphazardly squirreled away in four locations at Penn Biden and his residence. No one knew he had the documents. The FBI knew the location of Trump's cache.

After the raid on Trump's home, Biden told CBS that it was "irresponsible" for the former president to keep classified documents in his private residence.  Biden's words came back to haunt him after documents were uncovered in his private residence in three different places, including his garage.

But the documents also cast a spotlight on Biden's relationship with the University of Pennsylvania, raising more questions about the president's ethics.

With his classified documents in tow, Joe's Penn Biden Center gig proved to be very lucrative.  Biden's tax returns show the University of Pennsylvania paid Biden $911,644 between 2017 and the spring of 2019, when he stepped aside to formally announce his bid for the presidency.

Biden's China connections from his time as vice president handsomely benefited the university. A review of Department of Education records shows Penn collected more than $67.6 million in donations from China between 2013 and 2019. The majority, $47.7 million, flowed during the years Biden was at Penn.

To shroud the identity of donors, Penn says it collected $20 million from anonymous donors.  Those donors should be disclosed by the university.  Just releasing a press statement acknowledging the money came from China is not transparency.  Did the university collect money from "foreign agents" of China?

Surely, this is a coincidence and has no connection to the former vice president's role in China under the Obama Administration.  Not to mention his son Hunter's extensive business dealings with Chinese firms. After all, Americans should trust Joe because well, he's honest. Nothing to see here.

Those coincidences are piling up because it has been discovered the Chinese money and grants to Penn, courtesy of the Biden connection, had a purpose.  After the FBI became concerned about Chinese money targeting American academia, Garland quietly reversed the bureau's initiative.

But look, President Biden would never be involved in a quid-pro-quid with China.  If he had known he had classified documents, including some designated top secret, he would have turned them over to the National Archives.  He's just average, honest Joe, his media acolytes assure the public.

Every day seems to expose another Biden scandal. Soon it's bound to permanently damage the president and end his hopes of running for a second term. Biden defenders will be left to crying, "But Trump was worse." Biden is president not Trump.  He should be judged on his own unethical behavior.

Mid-Terms Blues: A Referendum On President Biden

Democrats are scrambling for the lifeboats.  Despite months of election bravado, the Democrats are abandoning the sinking Titanic that is the Biden presidency.  The Biden media, sensing a midterm drubbing for Democrats, is cracking after more than a year of covering up for the gaffe-prone president.

USA Today, a reliable pro-Biden newspaper, called out Biden for a string of blunders, including a false claim that Congress approved the student loan forgiveness plan. At a recent event, the president called for the late Rep. Jackie Walorski to stand up.  She had died the previous month in a car accident.

"It also raises questions about Biden's mental acuity.  I don't fault him for growing older--he's turning 80 next month.  But if Biden can't remember such a sweeping legislative action, it makes me wonder if he isn't making these decisions, then who is?'"wrote USA Today columnist Ingrid Jacques.

The abrupt shift in media coverage signals growing frustration with the president, whose job performance is undermining Democrats chances in the midterm elections.  Yet delusion Speaker Nancy Pelosi insists her party will hold the House and grow its lead in the Senate.

The Supreme Court decision on abortion was supposed to juice the Democrat base and attract independents. Democrats quietly celebrated the ruling, convinced they had a seminal issue that would turn the tide.  However, polls reveal abortion is not a top of the mind issue with most Americans.

This election is about the economy, inflation and the rising cost of living under the Biden Administration. Pundits claim it's unfair to punish Democrats for the post-pandemic economic carnage. Unfair? Tell that to a family of four living paycheck to paycheck.

An angry electorate blames Biden.  If you doubt this, consider the blowback even among Democrats as the president continues to flog his progress on the economy.  Some are openly warning that even talking about the economy risks sending voters fleeing into the waiting arms of Republican candidates.

Voters don't want to hear what the president and his party have achieved when each trip to the grocery store produces sticker shock. Spiraling inflation, which was supposed to be temporary, is a nightmare for the average consumer.  Abortions don't pay the bills for cash-strapped households.

A poll by the non-partisan Pew Research Center reported 95% of Americans are either "very" or "somewhat" concerned about the cost of food and consumer goods.  Another 87% are anxious about the spike in housing costs.  And 70% are worried about "how the stock market is doing," the poll found.

No wonder the stock market is a key concern. Americans' 401-K savings are now 201-K plans as the market has lost $7.6 trillion in value since Biden took office. Instead of empathy, Biden brushes off the market debacle because it "doesn't reflect the state of the economy".  He just doesn't get it.

Another poll conducted for NBC news offers a dose of reality.  Nearly three in four voters (71%) say the U.S. is headed in the wrong direction.  Only 20% think the country is on the right track. One-half (50%) believe the economy will get worse, the highest number since the polling began in 1994.

The American mood is decidedly gloomy. That is a realistic predictor of the midterm election outcome.  Polls about  specific races for the House or Senate are just snapshots of a single moment in the election. These surveys are increasingly partisan and have wide margins for error.

Even if the president and Pelosi seem oblivious to the sour mood of the country, Democrat pollsters and strategists are clearly aghast at the findings.

Fernand Amandi, a Democrat pollster who worked on Barrack Obama's presidential campaigns, offered this opinion:  "A month ago, it looked like not only were the Democrats poised to hold the Senate, the question was: Were they going to be able to get, you know, two extra seats.  Now, I think the hope is to just hang on."

Even that prospect looks in doubt.  Democrat strategist Mike Lux told "The Hill" that the party should have never downplayed inflation. "Working-class folks are getting hit hard by inflation," he said.  "And we need to make it clear that we understand what's going on."

What is President Biden's message to the electorate on inflation in the closing days of the midterm elections?

Blame meat companies.  Blame grocery wholesalers.  Blame corporate greed.  The president is clueless about what American consumers want to hear.  They do not give a wit about who's to blame. Voters want prices to fall. Inflation is eating into their savings and driving up household  credit card debt.

All 435 House seats and 35 in the Senate are up for grabs. The "smart" political class rates both houses a toss-up.  This writer disdains wishy-washy predictions.  Republicans will have a 31 seat margin in the House and will win enough Senate races to regain the majority with 53 seats.

This election is a referendum on Joe Biden and that spells disaster for Democrats.

Biden's Twilight Zone Presidency

There have been an avalanche of surreal events involving President Biden but none more bizarre than a White House celebration on inflation reduction on the very day his government announced an 8.3% hike in the cost of living.  It eerily resembled a Twilight Zone television episode.

While touting the Inflation Reduction Act, Biden boasted that gasoline prices are down an average of $1.30 since the beginning of summer. However, the cost per gallon is still 25.6% higher than a year ago. Russia's Putin was blamed for the price hike, so, facetiously, does he get credit for the decline?

Gas prices are dropping because demand for fuel has faltered 4.4% this year.  Another contributing factor  is some states have suspended gasoline taxes which lowers the average cost of a gallon.  Industry experts expect prices to escalate again when the release of Strategic Petroleum Reserves ends this fall.

During his back-slapping speech, the president said; "We're getting other prices down."  Exactly which ones is he talking about?   A Department of Labor report released the same day recorded the largest food price increases since May, 1979--an 11.4% jump over the past year.

Here's some examples of soaring food prices: Eggs, 39.8%; flour, 23.3%; milk; 17%; bread 16.2%; chicken, 16.6%; meats, 6.7%; pork, 6.8%, fruits and vegetables, 9.4%.  A industry report shows lower-income households in particular are skipping nutritional food items because of the inflated price.

Utilities are rising, especially natural gas, which climbed 33% since last year. With winter coming, prices will spike. New vehicle prices are 10.1% higher than 2021 and rent continues to skyrocket: the nationwide average for a one-bedroom apartment has mushroomed 27.1%.

Asked if he was concerned about 8.3% inflation, the president responded: "No, I'm not because we're talking about one-tenth of 1%," an apparent reference to a dip in some prices. Be assured average Americans are not fist bumping in joy at the check-out counter at their local grocery store.

But, of course, he is not the only person in the administration that does not allow facts to stand in the way of dubious pronouncements. In an interview, Vice President Kamala Harris twice claimed the porous southern border is "secure." The sycophant reporter did not challenge her obvious falsehood.

She said the following in a television interview: "We have a secure border in that that (sic) is a priority of any nation, including ours and our administration."  You can't make this stuff up.

The vice president's claim is particularly egregious considering she is the administration's official Border Czar.  She hasn't  personally visited the border, so she might be excused for knowing so little about the current crisis. Although you might surmise, she could find out if she wanted.

Southwest border apprehensions in fiscal year 2022, which ends in September, have already hit 1.9 million arrests.  This is the highest number ever recorded since the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol began tracking apprehensions in 1925.  That doesn't fit the definition of security at the border.

But Harris' statement pales in comparison to the whopper told by Biden's Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.  Questioned about border security, she replied: "It's not like people are just walking across the border."  What alternative universe is she living in?

There is a large cache of videos showing immigrants not only walking across the border, but climbing fences, swimming and being ferried across the Rio Grande River in boats operated by Mexican drug cartel members. Swarms of illegals are coming because they know the border is open.

Cue the Twilight Zone music.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen can always be counted to deliver a Rod Serling gem. (Serling was the creator of Twilight Zone.) She assured Americans for months inflation was temporary, even as the data showed the pressure on prices was continuing to mount.

Then after two quarters of negative GDP growth, Yellen delivered a non sequitur by calling the economic decline a "transition" not a recession, ignoring the long-established definition.  Two quarters of negative growth denotes a recession.

Now Yellen is backtracking again by admitting the country faces "a risk" of recession as it battles inflation.  Even if the third quarter delivers negative growth data, it would not surprise if Yellen updated the term to "extended transition." This administration knows no shame.

There are two conclusions that can be drawn from this Twilight Zone administration: Either President Biden and his team believe Americans are stupid or they are convinced their lies will be accepted as fact by a compliant media prone to echo the administration's narrative.

Whatever the conclusion, Americans are not entertained nor fooled by Washington's Twilight Zone episodes.

Infant Formula Shortage Fuels Disbelief, Anger

Just when you thought America had run out of crises, the infant formula shortage burst into the headlines. Outraged mothers discovered empty shelves. Exasperated parents drove hundreds of miles to neighboring states in search of formula.  This is a scene out of Venezuela or Burundi.

How can the wealthiest, most advanced country on earth run out of baby formula?  The answer to that question is prompting political finger pointing, capitalism bashing and administration spin doctoring. None of this is putting infant formula on store shelves for desperate parents.

To make matters worse the media has ginned up fear with its often uninformed reporting.  The complex situation requires more than a 30-second sound bite or an online click-bait headline with few facts. A crisis of this urgency demands vetted information which helps Americans understand the issues.

As usual, the Biden Administration was slow to react to the shortage. In February, the administration certainly knew there was the likelihood that the supply would be crippled when the Food and Drug Administration shut down the formula plant of the nation's largest producer,  Abbott Laboratories.

The FDA halted production after several babies who had consumed the formula manufactured at the Sturgis, Michigan, factory fell ill. Two died.  The FDA made the right call. That's the FDA's job.  But the agency and, surely, the administration understood the impact on the supplies of infant formula.

The Sturgis plant is where Abbott manufactures all its formula. The firm has a facility in Ohio, but it makes other products.  It is now shifting some formula production to the Ohio facility.  But closing the Sturgis plant created a 40% shortage in formula.  The FDA knew its action would trigger a shortage.

In fact, the problems at Sturgis, we now know, surfaced last September during the FDA's routine inspection.  Agency inspections were scrapped during COVID.  After a whistleblower came forward, the FDA returned to the plant on January 31. Inspectors knew there were problems at the plant.

But it took the FDA until February 17 to order the plant closed. Abbott has contended there "is no conclusive evidence to link Abbott's formulas to these infant illnesses." Reuters reports the FDA and CDC "have not disclosed any information that connects the illnesses to the plant."

The FDA is green lighting the restarting of production at Sturgis, but it will be months before formula reaches store shelves. After reopening the plant, Abbott estimates it will take anywhere from six to eight weeks before the first shipments are delivered to stores.

A few fair questions: Why didn't the administration alert the public in February?  Why didn't the FDA work with the formula industry to increase production immediately?  Why wasn't the government contacting suppliers in Europe with requests to ramp up production and expedite shipping to the U.S.?

The administration dithered until the formula crisis reached a national emergency.  Belatedly, the president on May 18 announced a plan to airlift formula from overseas producers, using military aircraft.  They administration calls it "Operation Fly Formula."  Let's hope it's more than a catchy name.

But wait until consumers find out formula from overseas producers is subject to U.S. tariffs of up to 17.5%. Prices of formula will rise.  Also, the FDA labeling and ingredient requirements for formula will exclude some overseas products from being imported.  Don't expect stores to have full shelves soon.

Democrats are planning to hold Congressional hearings as if this will solve the problem. Hectoring CEO's and slamming capitalism is right out of the Democrat playbook. The FDA should be the agency under scrutiny. Hearings are always great television for puffed up politicians, but achieve little.

It will be interesting to see if Democrats raise a thorny issue no one wants to talk about.  The largest purchaser of formula in the U.S. is the federal government.  Not consumers in grocery stores. Your tax dollars fund a Department of Agriculture program known by its acronym WIC.

WIC provides nutrition for low-income, nutritionally at risk, mothers of infants. Abbott and Mead Johnson supply 90% of the infant formula for WIC.  The federal government opted to use sole-source contracting in states, which manage distribution of formula for WIC beneficiaries.

Charges of gouging by Abbott and Mead Johnson are lies.  The firms actually lose money on formula they sell through WIC because the lowest bidder wins the state contract.  The formula producers receive about 20 times as much revenue from each can of formula sold to a non-WIC consumer.

So let's make this clear.  Taxpayers fund WIC.  If those taxpayers are ordinary moms who shop at a pharmacy or grocery store, they are also subsiding WIC recipients because they pay more for each can of formula to keep the producers in business.  This is a political hot potato for Congress.

The truth is the federal government has contributed to ensuring only a handful of  companies will control most of the U.S. infant formula market. Fully 98% of the formula sold domestically is made in the U.S. Tariffs and FDA regulations restrict overseas competition.  So who created this "monopoly"?

Abbott holds a 43% share of the formula market. The other dominant players are Mead Johnson, Nestle and Perrigo.  There are few companies in the formula business  because of the high barrier to entry.  Building and staffing a formula plant represents a multi-million dollar investment.

The formula business is shrinking, particularly in the U.S. Birth rates are falling and the demand for formula is slowing.  Worldwide sales reached $3.65 billion in 2019.  That is another reason more firms are not rushing into formula production. It is a small line of business and marginally profitable.

In the midst of this crisis, Congresswoman Kat Cammarck blew the whistle on the stockpiling of baby formula at the border for illegal immigrants. The disclosure stoked more consumer anger.  Biden's protector, The New York Times, labeled the concern "faux outrage." But was the information true?

While the Times awarded the congresswoman four Pinocchios, it admitted that a 2015 Customs and Border Protection document ordered : "Food must be appropriate for at-risk detainees age and capabilities (such as formula and baby food.") The phrase in parenthesis is in the newspaper's report.

It turns out infant formula is indeed stocked in warehouses for illegal immigrants at Border Patrol stations.  So why the four Pinocchios? Isn't it obvious?  The Times propaganda mission is to deflect criticism from the administration and tar those who dare point out the truth.

It begs the question: Why didn't the administration help relieve the shortage months ago  by sending some of the formula stocked in warehouses to stores?

Biden' surrogates complain the president is not to blame for this situation. Poor Joe. Presidents often get credit for things they can't influence as well as blame for others.  But, aren't the FDA and the Department of Agriculture part of the government Biden runs? Rhetorical question.

The administration's pity party is well...pitiful.  American moms do not give a a baby poo about who's to blame.  They expect the federal government to fix it.  And immediately.  Is that too much to ask of a government that spends trillions of dollars in taxpayer funds every year?

Hunter Biden Scandal May Ensnare The President

The curtain of media censorship cloaking L'Affaire Hunter Biden is finally being lifted.  For almost two years the legacy media ignored reports about the contents of Hunter's laptop after the New York Post broke the story in 2020.  Social media platforms banned any mention of the emails and videos.

The Post's bombshell report detonated during the final weeks of the presidential election. Much like the Hillary Clinton email kerfuffle, the revelations threatened to derail the Biden presidential run. Democrats needed a way to discredit the politically embarrassing laptop discovery.

Team Biden recruited 51 former U.S. Intelligence officials to label the New York Post story a classic example of Russian disinformation. The media dutifully repeated the lie. The truth is not one of those intelligence chiefs, including former CIA Director John Brennan, ever examined the laptop.

Despite the coverup, more media outlets authenticated the laptop belonged to Hunter.  Politico, Fox News and a handful of others exposed the contents, which painted a tawdry picture of Hunter and contained clues the president knew more than he has admitted publicly about his son's deals.

In March,  The New York Times and The Washington Post belatedly ran stories about the trove of documents on Hunter's foreign deals.  The Twin Temples of Babble downplayed the significance of the details and reported they found no evidence Joe Biden knew about his son's deals.

Apparently, they didn't look. The propaganda organs for the Democrats patted themselves on the backs and buried the matter. The fact both outlets corroborated the laptop's authenticity may seem shocking, but the liberal indoctrination voices are signaling there will be no more laptop coverage.

This is a strategy orchestrated by the White House to inoculate the president once Republicans take control of the House in the mid-terms. Likely-Speaker Mike McCarthy has promised to launch an investigation into Hunter's dealings.

The president and his press secretary will claim it is old news.  The GOP is conducting a witch hunt. Nothing to see.  However, storm clouds are hovering over the Biden family. A federal grand jury is investigating Hunter over allegations of money laundering, fraud and foreign lobbying.

Delaware U.S. Attorney David C. Weiss leads the probe. His boss is the president's Attorney General Merrick Garland, who has demonstrated he marches to White House orders. As a result, expect Hunter to receive a slap on the wrist and a fine before the mid-terms.  Case closed.

In anticipation of such an outcome, about 100 House Republicans dispatched a letter to Garland urging him to appoint a special counsel to remove the appearance of undue influence. Democrats used this same justification for the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller to probe President Trump.

There is good reason for the GOP to suspect administration officials will stomp their feet on the scales of justice.  Hunter was under investigation by the Department of Justice for tax evasion for more than a year.  Last year he quietly paid $1 million in back taxes.

The DOJ kept the probe under wraps.  There were no public details about how much Hunter owed.  Was this a partial settlement?  Did it include fines?  This is how justice works under the current Democrat administration. The Bidens are protected.  But those pesky laptop emails won't go away.

Details of the emails are leaking every day suggesting the president not only was aware of his son's deals but may have used his influence to gain access for Hunter to the inner circles of business chieftains through his relationships with leaders in China and Ukraine.

Hunter's laptop contains a collection of incriminating documents and emails detailing schemes with foreign entities that doled out millions of dollars to gain access to then VP Joe Biden. Authenticated emails confirm Hunter's father attended dinners with foreign investors and business partners.

In addition, there are photographs of the president with Hunter's investors and partners.  The two jetted to China aboard Air Force Two where the president met with his son's business associates involved in deals to enrich Hunter. That's why the president's claims of "no knowledge "are ludicrous.

One email shows then VP Biden penned a letter of recommendation to Brown University on behalf of Hunter's Chinese business partner's son, Chris Li.  Hunter's firm Rosemont Seneca was at the time involved with Chinese investment firms Bohai Capital and BHR.

The Washington Post documented that the Communist Party-controlled CEFC energy giant paid $4.8 million to entities connected to Hunter over an 18 month period prior to Joe Biden's announcement that he was running for president.   Coincidence or influence peddling?

Another email on Hunter's laptop dispels the notion that Joe Biden was a bystander and not a participant in his son's business affairs.  In the 2017 email sent to a Washington office manager, Hunter asks to "have keys made for new office mates: Joe Biden, Jill Biden and Jim Biden."

Emails reveal that Hunter planned to also share the space with an "emissary" for the chairman of the Chinese energy company, CEFC. The so-called emissary represents Ye Jianming, the chairman of CEFC. Yet President Biden expects voters to believe he never spoke with Hunter about business deals.

Despite the mounting evidence, President Biden clings to his tattered, old answer on all subjects Hunter: 'I love my son and I knew nothing about this dealings and never spoke to him about the matter.'

Democrats often complain there are two systems of justice.  They actually are right.  There is one system for Democrats and one for Republicans. Powerful Democrats always manage to escape justice. Will this be another example?  Don't bet against it.

Hunter's Deals Complicate Relations With China

A New York Times explosive report detailing Hunter Biden's dealings with Chinese partners may eventually prove the undoing of Biden's presidency.  The newspaper's findings are just the latest in a string of lucrative deals the president's son engineered by piggy-backing on his influential father.

The bombshell details in the Times represent a shocking about-face for the newspaper, which has swaddled the president in fawning coverage since his election. The Times, which dug into every aspect of Mr. Trump's debunked connections with Russia, had shown no interest in Hunter's ties with China.

Does the Times story signal a seismic shift in the media scrutiny of Mr. Biden?

The answer is a resounding No!  CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC and other mainstream parasites ignored the Times reporting. There is nothing to see here, their newsrooms concluded.  Imagine if Donald Trump Jr. had struck a deal with the Russians.  Would the media wink and look the other way?

In its account, the Times describes how the president's son was a founding board member of a firm that facilitated a Chinese company's purchase of an American company's cobalt mine, located in the Democratic Republic of Congo.  It is one of the richest cobalt mines in the world.

In the deal, China Molybdenum (CM) purchased the mine for $2.65 billion in 2016 from Phoenix-based Freeport-McMoRan Inc. A Shanghai firm, Bohai Harvest (BHR) Equity Investment Management Company, sold its minority stake to CM for $1.14 billion.  Hunter Biden served on the BHR board.

A lawyer for Hunter initially claimed he "no longer holds any interest" in Communist-backed BHR.  However, Chinese business records show Hunter held a 10% stake in the Chinese private equity firm BHR through his company, Skaneateles LLC.

Skaneateles, registered in Washington D.C., was hatched on July 18, 2008.  Hunter Biden is listed as the sole executive officer, according to OpenCorporate, a public data source.  The limited liability corporation was dissolved on September 2, 2021, a couple months before the Times story broke.

For the benefit of Democrats, who believe every negative story about Mr. Biden is part of some vast right wing conspiracy, here are the key paragraphs lifted directly from the the liberal Times report:

"The three Americans, all of whom served on the board, controlled 30 percent of BHR, a private equity firm registered in Shanghai that makes investments and then flips them for profit.  The rest of the company is owned or controlled by Chinese investors that include the Bank of China, according to records filed with Chinese regulators."

"But BHR's role in the Chinese mine purchase was not a major focus (during the 2020 election.) It has taken on new relevance because the Biden Administration warned this year that China might use its growing dominance of cobalt to disrupt America's retooling of its auto industry to make electric vehicles. The metal is among key ingredients in electric car batteries."

The deal potentially could compromise the president's dealings with China.  There is no doubt Hunter Biden benefited financially from his cozy relationship with the Chinese, including the 100% Communist controlled Bank of China.  The only remaining question is: How much did President Biden know?

The president's apologist, Jen Psaki, defended Mr. Biden by repeating the clumsy excuse that her boss knows nothing about his son's foreign business dealings.  Only the most naive Democrat partisan would believe such tripe.  Psaki's claim is fiction, not factual.

There have been numerous media reports about Hunter's overseas deals in the last five years and a Senate Committee probe.  Does no one in the administration, including Psaki, inform the president of these developments?  Or is the president clueless? Come on, man.

In 2015, then Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee Chuck Grassley called for scrutiny of Hunter's joint venture with the same Chinese investment entity (BHR) after a transaction to purchase an American automotive technology company with potential military applications.

The deal breezed through U.S. approvals, prompting Sen. Grassley to inquire whether the Obama-Biden administration intervened in the process. China's government Aviation Industry Corporation teamed with BHR to buy Henniges Automotive, a producer of high-tech, anti-vibration components for cars.

The $600 million acquisition gave the Chinese aviation firm a 51% stake in the business and direct control of the anti-vibration technology.  In 2007, this same Chinese government aviation company was reportedly involved in stealing sensitive data about the new U.S. Strike Fighter program.

Despite the conflicts, Hunter and BHR passed muster with the Obama administration's Committee on Foreign Investment.  But wait there's more.  Secretary of State John Kerry's department signed off, too. Well, look at this.  Kerry's stepson was a partner with Hunter in BHR investment at the time.

Hunter has shamelessly exploited his father's role to enrich himself. But of course, then Vice President Biden claimed in 2015 he had no idea his son was involved with the Chinese Communist government. Yeah, that's right.  Believe it. See there is no conflict of interest here. What influence peddling?

In 2013, Hunter accompanied his father aboard Air Force Two to Beijing. The Vice President was on official government business. Hunter hopped a ride on the U.S, government plane with his daughter. Official government records document the trip.

Ten days after he left, China issued Hunter a license to do business in the Communist country. Within three weeks, Hunter's firm inked a private equity deal with the Communist Chinese controlled Bank of China.  That was the birth of BHR, an investment vehicle orchestrated by the Chinese.

NBC News reported the following about the junket: "Throughout the weeklong trip, Hunter Biden seemed to duck in and out, sometimes joining his father at events and red-carpet ceremonies, and at other times, following his own itinerary, presumably with his daughter Finnegan."

Communists view investments as a way to gain influence, particularly when a key participant is the son of the U.S. Vice President.  Did Mr. Biden have no idea about the appearance of impropriety of such a deal?  He ushered Hunter into the waiting arms of China under the imprimatur of the U.S. government.

Apparently it never dawned on Mr. Biden, if you believe his version of the events. Americans are supposed to dumb enough to believe Hunter just rode along on Air Force Two on some sight seeing junket to Shanghai and somehow stumbled into a sweetheart investment deal. How lucky is Hunter?

An investigation, overseen by GOP Senators Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley, produced an exhaustive  report illuminating the potential conflicts of interest arising from Hunter Biden's deals, including those with Chinese firms.  The report, issued September 23, 2020, spurred little media interest.

The report is a joint effort between the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the Senate Committee on Finance.  The report, available online, contains dates, financial details and Chinese firms linked to deals with Hunter.

The report's staff uses Secret Service records to document that Hunter Biden scheduled at least six trips to China.  Hunter received Secret Service protection in January 2009 after Joe Biden's election as Vice President. On these trips, he became involved in a series of deals with Chinese partners.

One such lucrative arrangement was with Chinese firm CEFC Infrastructure Investment, a foreign  limited liability company registered in New York.  The firm is a subsidiary of CEFC China Energy Corporation, which received funding from the state-owned China Development Bank.

Ye Jianming, who runs the investment arm, joined with Hunter in what turned out to be a financial bonanza for the president's son and other members of the Biden family.   CEFC Infrastructure Investment formed another limited liability company, Hudson West III, the report revealed.

Hudson then collateralized a $99,000 line of credit with Cathay Bank. Hunter, the president's brother James, and his wife Sara, were authorized users of credit cards associated with the  account. The trio ran up credit card debts of $101,291.46 on airline tickets, hotels, restaurants and purchases at Apple Stores.

During 2018, the report cites evidence that Hunter Biden's law firm, Owasco, moved large sums of money to relatives. Between August 14, 2017 and August 3, 2018, Owasco sent 20 wires totaling $1,398,999 to the Lion Hall Group, a consulting firm that lists James and his wife Sara as partners.

In addition, Hudson West II  paid $4,790,375.25 in consulting fees to Hunter's law firm, Owasco, in a single year. Records turned over to the Senate committee indicate Hunter was compensated for market research on a natural gas project, that was later scrapped.

Former President Trump was tortured by the media for three years about his collusion with Russia. Evidence from indictments by special prosecutor John Durham point to a fake dossier, manufactured by Russians, financed by Hillary Clinton and promoted by a corrupt FBI.

(Democrats are screaming: "Yeah, but Mr. Biden didn't start an insurrection," as if this justifies behavior that has the appearance of a quid-pro-quid deal for his son who hobnobbed with Chinese government officials while he was in Shanghai with his father.)

What if the real collusion is between Hunter Biden and China?  Have his profitable deals influenced President Biden in his dealings with the Communists on issues such as climate change, the Coronavirus origin or China's threats to Taiwan?  The Chinese only dole out millions expecting something in return.

The Democrat controlled House and Senate will never snoop into Biden family deals. Washington's interest level may escalate if Republicans reclaim the House in the mid-terms.  Since Democrats appear infatuated with impeachments, they may regret their obsession if the next one claims one of their own.

China Dupes U.S. Over Pollution Pledges

Even as the ink dried on the Paris climate accord in 2015, the world's biggest polluter was plotting to ramp up construction of hundreds of new coal-fired plants to meet the swelling energy demand of its 1.44 billion people. Despite its climate pledges to slice emissions, China's pollution has worsened.

Only six years ago, China joined 195 other countries, including the United Sates, in signing a binding treaty to tackle the issue of climate change.  Under the agreement, each country pledged to significantly reduce harmful emissions.  Naive American politicians trusted the Communists' promises.

Little has changed since that Paris agreement in 2015.  China 's coal burning plants continue to belch carbon dioxide, thus retaining the title of world's largest emitter. The regime is responsible for 30% of all global emissions, according to ClimateTrade.  China releases twice as much CO-2 as the U.S.

President Biden has an opportunity to confront China on its lack of progress at the upcoming Conference of the Parties--nations which ratified the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 1994.  Expect China to make empty commitments it has no intention of fulfilling.

The Washington Post, virtually a publicity arm of the Democrat Party, ran a story ahead of the Glasgow, Scotland, confab, tempering expectations.  With China's President Xi Jinping absent, the Post conjectures there will be no substantial guarantees from China on a plan to reduce emissions.

For once, the newspaper'a assumption is correct.  China always acts in its self interests. To suggest the Communists will do an about face because of a ballyhooed conference, is incredulous.  If President Biden takes a victory lap after the meeting, he has been duped by China just like previous leaders.

Judge China on its actions not its rhetoric.  The independent research firm Rhodium Group released an analysis documenting that China's emissions have more than tripled over the past three decades. China's global emissions reached 52 giga tons of CO-2 in 2019, an 11.4% increase over the last ten years.

Yale Environment 360 analyzed China's climate ambitions and wrote that "air pollution returned in Beijing with a vengeance, hitting the highest levels this year since January 2019." Steel, cement and heavy manufacturing plants, running on coal power, boosted emissions by 4% by mid-2020.

In 2019, 58% of China's electricity was generated by coal, according to Yale's study.  By comparison, the United States produces 23% of its electricity from coal.  Last year alone, China built 184 coal-fired plants which will release more carbon dioxide gasses.

The San Francisco-based think tank Global Monitor and the independent Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air estimated China commissioned more than three times as much new coal power capacity as all the other countries in the world combined, despite repeated assertions to cut emissions.

America has dramatically reduced its dependence on coal by shuttering 392 coal burning facilities since 2002, a decrease of  38%. The country now operates 241 coal-fired plants and more are being off-lined nearly every year. Meanwhile, America creates 20% of its electricity from renewables.

China defenders--and there are many in Congress--point to the Communist Party's mandate that 40% of the vehicles sold in China must be electric by 2030.  However, few economists believe the goal can be achieved.  Still China apologists offer this mandate as proof the country is serious about climate change.

China's foremost champions are large U.S. corporations, including many with production, assembly or manufacturing facilitates operating in the Communist regime.  The list includes firms such as Apple, Tesla, Boeing, Caterpillar, General Motors, Ford and Honeywell.

Scores of other firms, such as Nike, Starbucks, McDonald's and Pepsi, depend on the lucrative market for corporate revenue and profit growth. Wynn Resorts' revenues from casinos in Macau alone account for 75.2% of its income. China represents the most lucrative market for U.S. companies.

The reality is these firms cannot afford to offend China by demanding climate accountability.

The silence of American businesses is nothing short of hypocritical considering many of these same corporations are zealots for the progressive New Green Deal initiative in their own country. These corporate behemoths prefer to lecture Americans about saving the planet.  Chinese, not so much.

In fact, these firms are guilty of fueling demand for more energy output in China by investing in the expansion of their operations in the Communist nation. Every new retail store, manufacturing or assembly plant, taxes China's already strained national grid, hiking incentives for more coal power.

Given American businesses' dependence on China for growth and profits, does any reader believe Mr. Biden will hold China's feet to the fire over it climate promises?  Never happen. The U.N. goal of reaching "net zero" greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 is constructed on quicksand commitments.

That's why this latest climate summit will be a carbon copy of those held over the last two decades.  Much fanfare, little results. Expect Mr. Biden to double down on reigning in U.S. emissions.  But global CO-2 emissions will continue to spiral because China has no intention of honoring its pledges.

Mr. President: Jim Crow Does Not Live In Georgia

The most powerful word in the English language is racist.  Tag a new law with that epithet and watch the stampede to convict.  Forget defending the legislation or relying on facts to spare supporters from a public pillorying.  A thunder clap of outrage will drown-out fair analysis in favor of political pandering.

President Joe Biden cratered to a tiny minority of divisive racial activists and hurled a charge of Jim Crowism after Georgia's legislature approved changes in the state's election laws.  The offensive term Jim Crow refers to racial segregation policies of decades past, promulgated by Southern Democrats.

"This is Jim Crow in the 21st Century.  It must end," Mr. Biden huffed in a statement.  He added the Georgia election changes are "an atrocity" and warned the Department of Justice is "taking a look" at the measure.  His condemnation inflamed racial division and was a thinly veiled threat to Georgia.

Corporations piled on after they were bullied by well organized activist groups.  Coca Cola, Delta, American Airlines and Apple are just a few of the business behemoths who upbraided the legislature for daring to alter election laws in their own state.  These limousine liberals are cowardly Woke lackeys.

The complicit media, paced by that paragon of journalistic pugilism CBS News, lobbied companies to punish Georgia for caring about election integrity.  Faux writers at CBS tweeted an article citing "three ways companies can help fight Georgia's new voting law." Today this passes for unbiased reporting.

The coup-de-gras was applied when Major League Baseball jerked the All-Star Game from Atlanta to punish those mean racists. Commissioner Rob Manfred, a dunderhead of a leader, harrumphed that his millionaire owners oppose "restrictions at the ballot box." That'll show those dumb crackers.

The kerfuffle was stoked by lies, deliberate misinformation and media malfeasance.  Few if any of the participants in the finger-wagging, self-righteousness executive suites actually read the bill.  How can you tell?  Their responses and public-posturing were detached from the reality of the Georgia law.

At the eye of this racial hurricane is the media anointed Uinifier-in-Chief. Perhaps, someone should suggest Mr. Biden read the 98-page Election Protection Act before leveling salacious accusations. That might be asking too much, since he rarely engages publicly except to parrot a prepared script.

The president butchered the facts so badly even the Jeff Bezos-owned Washington Post winced. The paper's fact-checkers awarded Mr. Biden "four pinnochios" for this remarks about the legislation. The Post reserves four long-noses for what it claims "whoppers." Translation: big fat lies.

"One could understand a flub in a news conference," the Post noted. "But then this same claim popped up in an official presidential statements.  Not a single expert we consulted who has studied the law understood why Biden made this claim" the newspaper's fact-checkers wrote.

Here's a summary of The Washington Post's assessment of election law changes approved by the Republican-dominated Georgia legislature:

  • Nothing in the new law changes early voting hours.  The law did make changes to expand the opportunities for early voting, not limit them.
  • The bill does not limit in-person voting, but the new law gives election officials the opportunity to extend the hours longer than regular business hours.
  • The bill prohibits people from soliciting votes of those in line by offering money or gifts, including but not limited to food and water.  It does not prohibit a poll worker from making available, self-service water.
  • The law does not eliminate absentee ballot drop boxes for ballots.  Last election, drop boxes were set up in unsecured, outdoor locations.  Ballot boxes now must be secured inside buildings.
In the bill, there are provisions to shrink the period for early voting from 78 days before an election, instead of 180-days instated last year as a concession to Coronavirus. But the act expands both the hours and the days on which polls are open for early voting, including Saturdays.

The law also creates a hotline where Georgians can report illegal election activities and voter suppression. Other changes include around-the-clock surveillance of drop boxes; ballots printed on security paper; and, verification of voter identities.

That last item, voter identification, always throws Democratic Party partisans into a tizzy. However, the new law allows voters to use driver's licenses, state issued identifications or the last four digits of their Social Security number.  There is no legitimate way to claim that suppresses voting.

To do so, requires reverse racial discrimination. Americans are required to have an ID to  rent an apartment, open a bank account, enter a federal building, drive a car, apply for food stamps, purchase alcohol or cigarettes, apply for unemployment, receive Medicaid, fly on an airplane or get married.

Are activists suggesting African-Americans, Hispanics and other minorities don't need an ID because they do none of those things? Talk about racial profiling. Georgia, like many states including Texas, issues free identifications to those without driver's licenses.  Voting is as easy as buying beer.

That raises the question: Why is the president so upset if the new law actually makes voting more accessible in many respects?  The answer should be obvious.  Mr. Biden and his Democrat cronies do not want states mucking around with voter integrity.  They prefer the chaos of the last election.

That's why Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her gaggle of Democrat bobbleheads have teed up new federally mandated voting rules as their top priority.  Democrats' agenda is to dictate balloting laws, despite the Elections Clause in the Constitution, which delegates primary authority to states.

The racial ruckus in Georgia is a warning to states.  Don't monkey with election laws.  Democrats and their media puppets will segregate you from the rest of the country and trump up racial charges to smear your state and inflict economic harm.  Jim Crow is alive and well and living in Washington.
